ABOUT ME

I am Vero, and I am a photographer. (But that wasn't always the case.)

Armed with degrees in business and fashion design, I spent 10 incredible years in the retail fashion industry. While it whet my creative appetite and encouraged me to hone my visual skills, I knew that I needed to get my hands dirtier. I wanted to initiate the creative process and be part of the magic.

Light can travel around the world 7 times a second. Imagine how quickly it enters a camera's lens. In that fraction of a second, a photograph is made. My job is to capture that elusive moment as soon as it hits the air. Because just as quickly as it appears, it's gone. My aim is to bring focus and clarity to a moment that will disappear in the blink of an eye.

A lot can happen in a second. I'll be there to catch it.

Angela and Eric’s wedding celebration took place at the gorgeous Rosewood Sand Hill. Their wedding day was filled with cultural traditions, dancing and celebration. What I loved about this wedding was the dedicated portrait session time the couple allocated in between the cultural ceremonies. We spent a good two hours (photographer’s dream!) leisurely photographing the wedding party and the couple, taking full advantage of Rosewood property, from the interior hotel to the perfectly manicured grounds outdoors. The entire wedding party even had a Jamba Juice break! Thank you, Angela and Eric, for being so thoughtful and dedicating significant time for portraits, a true luxury. The bride, Angela, poured her heart into the details of this yellow-themed wedding, infused with symbolism of happiness and prosperity. From the dove birdie favors to the beautiful crane origami photobooth curtain, Angela diligently hand made these crafts for weeks leading up to her wedding.
