The Yen Family boys are full of personality and character already at a young age of 1 and 3. Their family photoshoot was filled with funny expressions, lot of tickles, laughs and “boop!” sounds. While my photography business is tailored for Weddings and Family Portraits, I occasionally get inquiries for commercial portraits (headshots) from time to time. I welcome the refreshing change and it’s a great way to expand on my experiences and portfolio. For this photoshoot, I had the pleasure of working for Tastemaker, an affordable interior design firm for everyone. I’m proud of the images I created for this dynamic team. Not only did the photoshoot serve the purpose of capturing head shots, in hindsight, this was a great team building exercise. Overall a fun experience, the team had the opportunity to get styled and be a star in front of the camera.

I met Vanessa and Neil at my former client’s wedding (seen here) where Vanessa was one of the pretty bridesmaids. When Vanessa and Neil got engaged, they had contacted me to photograph their wedding but unfortunately I had already been booked. Instead, we proceeded to do an engagement session. Vanessa and Neil are truly genuine and kind, the real deal. It’s a loss for me to not be able to photograph their big day, but I’m so happy we got a chance to at least do a photo session just in time to send out their Save the Dates! Congrats to the couple!
From the way Eugene adores Theresa and the way Theresa looks at Eugene, I’m convinced that the two are match made in harmony. From the floral arrangements made by Theresa’s mom, Chinese tea ceremony/lion dancing to the personalized Phil’z coffee mug (the couple’s favorite), this wedding incorporated so many personal and traditional touches. Best of all, their celebration was filled with love from 250 of their closest friends and family. An action packed day, Theresa and Eugene’s wedding was a great way to kick start my 2013 wedding season. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs!
